Harwich Society seeks winners of Children’s Drawing competition

The Harwich Society have so far been unable to contact the three winners the Children’s Draw and Colour the Mayflower Ship Competition.
The drawing competition has been run throughout the summer from the Harwich Society’s Ha’Penny Pier Visitor Centre. 45 children submitted entries for the competition to draw the Mayflower, the 17th century ship which took the Pilgrim Fathers to America.
Harwich Society’s Marian Heath says, “We were delighted with the response and the quality of the drawings but, unfortunately, the contact numbers given for three of the winners have turned out to be inaccurate. The prizes consist of drawing materials and, although not sizeable, they are still recognition for the achievement. We are hoping the public can help us find our missing winners so we can present them with their certificates and prizes and bring the Harwich Society’s 2013 Drawing Competition to a successful conclusion.”
The missing winners are Jordan Rickworth, Hallie and Maddie Dobinson. The Harwich Society hopes that someone in their family, or friends will read this and contact Lesley Elliot at 25, The Street, Ramsey telephone 01255 – 880582 or Harwich Society Press Officer Garry Calver on 01255 551940
