Little Oakley Village Open Day

LITTLE OAKLEY VILLAGE OPEN DAY…included some of a village’s oldest and most historic properties. Buildings in Little Oakley including 700-year old Foulton Hall, The Old Rectory, the former Little Oakley School, Cherry Tree Cottage and St Mary’s Church were all open to the public. Several of the venues are said to be haunted and village pub ‘Ye Olde Cherry Tree’ offered specially baked Cherry Tree cake to try and appease the spirits. A phantom is said to visit the bar, cellar and garden. Proceeds from the open day were donated to the Little Oakley Club’s artificial pitch project and Two Village School PTA.
